How does Golf Eye intelligently recognize golf ball trajectories and automate filming?
Golf Eye combines a high-speed imaging system with advanced AI algorithms. It has collected extensive data on golf balls, flagsticks, swings, human movement, and audio from real golf courses to build multiple AI models. These models smartly detect swings, ball impact, flagsticks, and long-distance ball flights. With a built-in three-axis gimbal, the device automatically tracks and records the motion. Its Sony high-pixel image sensor and 18× optical zoom lens ensure clear long-distance tracking even under complex lighting conditions.
What scenarios can Golf Eye capture on the golf course?
The recommended use is at par-3 tee boxes, where it can best capture “hole-in-one” moments. You can also adjust distance parameters to record long-range shots on par-4 and par-5 holes.
Golf Eye also supports short-game recording, such as chips, bunker shots, and putting.
Can the device be used at driving ranges as well?
Yes. Golf Eye includes a ground-spike mount designed for course use, and a tripod for driving range use. Both accessories are included. The mobile app (need to insert mobile app link) also offers a dedicated driving-range mode for continuous swing recording.
Hardware & Installation
How is the device powered? Does it require an external power source?
Golf Eye uses a built-in battery. A full charge supports approximately 5–7 hours of continuous recording.
Does installation require a professional? Is it portable?
Installation is simple and can be completed by the user:
- Mounting: Use the ground-spike mount on the course or the tripod at the driving range.
- Portability: The form factor is similar to a golf club, making it easy to carry by hand or place inside a golf bag. The camera module can also be detached and taken home for video processing.
How much storage does it have? Does it support cloud backup?
The device includes 64GB of high-speed internal storage. It supports Wi-Fi direct connection to your phone/tablet to download videos into the Golf Eye app or upload them to Golf Eye Cloud. Users can also expand storage with a TF card (up to 128GB).
Software & Data Analysis
How do I view and share short videos via the app and cloud?
After downloading the Golf Eye App (insert app link), follow these steps:
- Connect to the device’s Wi-Fi.
- Open the Videos section.
- Select either Golf Eye’s footage or videos stored on your phone.
- For each clip, you can save it, use picture-in-picture, draw trajectory lines, or view distance metrics.
- Highlight videos can be uploaded to the cloud, and can be shared on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, WeChat, and other platforms.
How secure is the cloud data?
Golf Eye Cloud is built on AWS, using multiple layers of protection to ensure the safety of all user data and video files.
Usage Scenarios & Expansion
Can the device be used for sports other than golf?
Golf Eye currently uses high-magnification optical zoom technology designed specifically for golf. Future versions may expand support to tennis, soccer, basketball, and other sports.
What is the device’s water and dust resistance rating?
Golf Eye has an IP4X rating, supporting basic splash resistance, and is not suggested to be used in rainy or extreme weather conditions.

What is the warranty period? How do I request repairs?
The device comes with a one-year full-unit warranty. Users can submit repair requests through the app or cloud portal (asking the client to provide more information).
