Detect flag in second with AI, from 400yds
Over 80% of shots are aimed at the flag during normal 18 holes play. With the special propriety AI algorithm, Golfeye can detect and find the flag in second. The 18xzoom lens can detect the flag as far as from 400yards from the golfer. The algorithm will log in the flag in the direction and distance and return to find and locate the golfer in play. Once it is done, Golfeye is ready to film the shot, from the swing to the hole until the ball is landed.
Ball landed with zoom in
One distinct feature of Golfeye is its zoom capability. Once the ball is landed, the zoom lens will allow to video to be enlarged so that the object will be bigger with more details. It is particularly important for the smart phone to display the ball in small LCD footage.
Picture-in-picture enlargement
Golfer can activate the function of picture-in-picture. Besides showing the entire video on the screen, a small picture will be displayed at the upper right-hand corner where the ball is zoomed in detail. Picture-in-picture can help the video enlarge and more details can be seen.
Detect ball adjustment
Golfers should be aware that its ball flight can be deviated from the target line quite often. As the logic is to catch the ball with it landing position so that people can see the final outcome, Golfeye has detected the deviated path and compensates the ball path for a perfect landing. For example, if the ball is somewhat shot to the left, the algorithm will adjust a few degrees toward left so that the zoom lens can compensate for the loss at the final stage. The outcome is a ball that landed towards the left a few degrees. The ultimate benefits is more ball can be captured.
Ball flight parabola
In order the visualize how the balls fly with the target line, golfer can activate the function of parabola line drawing. In can create a parabola line simulate the real line so the ball of flight can be seen by the golfers. It is similar to the shot tracer played on the phone but gplfeye can pinpoint the ball of landing.
Modes of operation
There are 3 modes of operation. User can switch to Automatic Mode, Putter Mode and Fee style mode at any time he wishes. For example, during Automatic mode, some parameters will be displayed e.g. slope, distance etc. In normal cases, user will take the default value and will start filming the shot. But if he want to make a change in value, he can do it with the phone
